I have similar strains floating out to the kitchen from the keyboard in the living room. She does know enough songs now that it isn't painful. I'm thankful she's still at the stage when practicing isn't a chore! Hopefully one day she's be able to play better than her Mama!
I have a house musician. She serenades me while I cook. Provides homework ambiance. An evening musical interlude.
